George Voinovich is not running for re-election: We need to get a conservative in his seat - This State cannot afford to have two Democrats for Senators PLUS a Democrat for Govenor - Ohio will go as Michigan went if that is allowed.  Portman is running for his seat here is his website - http://www.robportman.com/?gclid=CLPjiuDAh50CFSn6agodRFvDag. He has a voting record. I don't agree with everything he stands for but you judge for yourself.

Some of my Beliefs: I believe in the Constitution. I believe in personal responsibility, less government, lower taxes and life. I believe that marriage is sacred and  that judges should to interpret the law, not make it. I believe that we conservatives have a right to voice our opinions without being called racist or bigots. I believe the country, in particular its youth, is in dire need of conservative people to take charge, to show their political incorrectness and to bring the United States of America back to the shining beacon on the hill I believe it is.

My Background: Originally from Washington State, I am a card carrying Samish Indian. I was in the Navy when Regan was President ~ that was before they allowed women on aircraft carriers! When I got out of the service I went into the legal field and am currently a certified paralegal working for a large law firm in Columbus, Ohio. I am married to a wonderful man who retired from the Air Force and after his retirement, we moved to Mount Gilead, Ohio which is where he grew up.

The State of Ohio: On Judges in Ohio, you need to know: Ted Strickland (current govenor) stated that due to the non-designation in the Ohio Supreme Court Judge(s) race (both repulbican candidates won in the November 2008 election) there needed to be a change in the ballot showing the candidate's political affiliation.  Ohioans we will need to get the names of the conservative judicial candidates out to the people and ensure that the people know that these candidates will interpret the law not make it. As of 9/23/09 this is getting closer to becoming a reality.

We also need to get Ted Strickland out of office! John Kasich is running and he also has a record you can view: http://www.kasichforohio.com/site/c.hpIJKWOCJqG/b.5200297/k.B836/News/apps/nl/newsletter2.asp Brunner the SOS is running for Voinovich seat in the senate - so hopefully two things will happen there - she will be defeated AND she will be OUT as SOS!
